The Wolf Pack played four games in five days this past week, winning three of the four match-ups and ending the week at 42-21-2-6, for 92 points, remaining four points behind Atlantic Division leader the Portland Pirates. On Wednesday, the Pack faced-off with Manchester during Sonar's Second Annual "Edu-Skate" game, claiming a 3-1 victory over the Monarchs. Then on Friday night, the Pack swooped over Springfield for a 6-1 win at home, with goaltender Robert Gherson providing 28 saves and Alexandre Giroux, Brad Smyth, Dwight Helminen, Chad Wiseman, Craig Weller and Colby Genoway netting the Pack's six goals. The next night, the Pack faced a disappointing 6-3 loss at home to Bridgeport. The Pack was without its top goal scorer, Alexandre Giroux (34 g), who was called up by the New York Rangers on Saturday morning and made his NHL debut that evening in Tampa Bay. Then on Sunday, the Pack came back with a 3-2 shootout win over Providence, led by center Jarkko Immonen, who scored a goal in regulation and also netted two shootout goals to seal the Pack's victory.

This week:
The Wolf Pack play three games in three days this week, traveling to Springfield on Friday to match-up with the Falcons (7:35 p.m. faceoff), followed by a rematch at home on Saturday (7:00 p.m.) for the Pack's final, regular-season match up with Springfield. Then on Sunday, the Pack take on Norfolk (4:00 p.m.) in Hartford.

Wednesday, March 29 - "Wolf Pack Confidential" at Little Mark's Big Barbecue on ESPN Radio 1410
A special Wednesday-night edition of the Wolf Pack's weekly hourlong live radio show originates as usual from Little Mark's Big Barbecue, 279 West Main Street (Route 44) in Avon, from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Scheduled to join host Bob Crawford this week are Brad Smyth and Jake Taylor. They will be taking questions from the live audience at Little Mark's (all are invited), and the show can be heard on ESPN Radio 1410 and on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com.

Friday, March 31 at Springfield (MassMutual Center), 7:35 p.m.

This is the ninth of ten games on the year between the Wolf Pack and the Falcons, the top affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Springfield Falcons are currently ranked sixth in the Atlantic Division with a record of 25-36-3-6, for 59 points.
Springfield's top scorer is center Jason Jaspers, who has 24-33-57 in 67 games.
The Pack are 5-2-1-0 on the year vs. the Falcons and won the last game between the two clubs 6-1 March 24th in Hartford.

Saturday, April 1 vs. Springfield at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.

This is the final of ten games on the year between the Pack and the Falcons.
Join the Pack for this special April Fool's Game, which will feature the hilarious comedy of "Off the Cuff Improv" between periods. "Off the Cuff Improv" is Connecticut's premier and longest running improvisation troupe.
Representatives from National Donate Life will be on hand at the April 1st game to kick off National Donate Life Month, raising awareness about the critical need for organ, tissue, marrow, and blood donation.

Sunday, April 2 vs. Norfolk at the Hartford Civic Center, 4:00 p.m.

This is the final of four games on the year between the Wolf Pack and the Admirals, the top affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. The Admirals currently stand third in the East Division with a record of 36-26-4-4 for 80 points.
Norfolk's top scorer is veteran Mark Cullen, who has 29-39-68 in only 54 games. Cullen is currently on recall to the Blackhawks.
Come early to the game and celebrate Hartford's outstanding contributions towards public safety with "The Bravest vs. The Finest" hockey game at 1:45 p.m. During this showdown, the Hartford Fire Department will take on the officers from the Vernon Police Department, Manchester Police Department, UConn and the State Police in a game to benefit the Connecticut Children's Medical Center. In addition, various demonstrations on safety will take place in the Hartford Civic Center Exhibition Hall downstairs starting at 2:00pm. The Hartford Fire Department will have their new tactical unit vehicle and rescue boat, and the "Fire Safety Trailer" house on display. Admission is included in the price of your Wolf Pack Ticket.
All members of the military and students who present their respective i.d.'s at the Civic Center box office can purchase Red and Blue Wolf tickets for half price. Adult tickets will be $8 and $10, with a limit of four tickets per i.d..

Bryce Lampman - dislocated left shoulder (out for the season).
Ivan Baranka - fractured right hand (4-6 weeks).
David Liffiton - tendonitis in right ankle (day to day).

Bruce Graham - reassigned by the New York Rangers (NHL) to Charlotte (ECHL) on March 24.
Alexandre Giroux - recalled from loan by the New York Rangers (NHL) on March 25.
