Today the Pirates released the 2005-2006 Pirates Player Awards Ballot. Fans are now able to vote online for the Portland Pirates Year-End Player Awards, which will be presented to the winners in an on-ice, post-game ceremony following the final regular season home game on Friday, April 14th against Springfield at 7:05 p.m.
The Portland Pirates are teaming up with Pepsi to give fans a chance to win free Pirates tickets to the Pirates home game on April 8th against the Lowell Lock Monsters. Fans can visit a local participating independent Pepsi retailer to sign up for free tickets and a chance to win free Pepsi for a year!
Today Zenon Konopka was named the WJAB/Pirates Player of the Week. Konopka will join the "The Morning Jab" on WJAB 1440AM/95.5FM on Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m.
The Pirates remain in first place in the Atlantic Division with 96 points and are just 2 wins away from tying the franchise record for wins in a season (46) set back in the 1994-95 season.

Saturday, April 8th - 7:05 PM vs. Lowell Lock Monsters - Time Warner Cable and AAA Member Appreciation Night! Every fan will receive a Portland Pirates/Time Warner Digital Phone mini-stick. One lucky fan will also win a 30" HDTV courtesy of Time Warner Cable. Time Warner Cable invites you to meet Boston Bruins legend and member of NESN's Bruins Broadcast Team, Don Sweeney who will be in attendance to meet fans and sign autographs.
