Shut Me Out: Nashville pitchers tossed their first shutout of 2019 in yesterday's 3-0 win. It's the first shutout win for Nashville since August 6, 2018 vs. Sacramento (6-0 win). The Sounds were the last team in the Pacific Coast League to record at least one shutout.
Looking for a Sweep: The Sounds are looking for their first winning sweep of the season by winning the first 3 games of the 4-game set. The last time Nashville swept a series was August 9-12 of 2018 against the Colorado Spring Sky Sox. That 4-game sweep over Colorado Springs was part of Nashville's 15-game winning streak.
Not Raining Hits: Tacoma's offense came into the four-game series against Nashville with a team batting average of .288.
