West Coast Swing Game: The Sounds started the current 7-game road trip by being swept in three games by the Reno Aces. They have turned it around by winning 3 straight over Tacoma. Andy Ibáñez (.333 avg.), Matt Davidson (.304), Eli White (.292), Tyler Pill (.250), Chase d'Arnaud (.250) and Patrick Wisdom .231) have played in all 6 games. Overall on the road trip, Nashville is hitting .288 (62-for-215) with 37 runs scored, 7 doubles, 11 home runs and 24 walks.

White's Power Trip: Eli White hit another home run yesterday, his 4th of the road trip and 8th of the season. Shut Me Out: Nashville pitchers tossed their first shutout of 2019 in yesterday's 3-0 win. It's the first shutout win for Nashville since August 6, 2018 vs. Sacramento (6-0 win). The Sounds were the last team in the Pacific Coast League to record at least one shutout.

Looking for a Sweep: The Sounds are looking for their first winning sweep of the season by winning the first 3 games of the 4-game set. The last time Nashville swept a series was August 9-12 of 2018 against the Colorado Spring Sky Sox. That 4-game sweep over Colorado Springs was part of Nashville's 15-game winning streak.

Not Raining Hits: Tacoma's offense came into the four-game series against Nashville with a team batting average of .288. Nashville pitchers have held the Rainiers to a .222 batting average (22-for-99) in the first three games of the series to drop their overall team batting average to .285. Tacoma entered the series with a league-best 70 stolen bases and have only swiped 2 bags - both on Saturday.
