Musketeers Hang on for 3-2 Win in Dubuque

It took Musketeers forward Mitch Fossier 30 minutes and 5 seconds to find the back of the net for the first goal of the game in Dubuque tonight. It was the first of 3 goals scored by Sioux City in a 3-2 win over the Saints at Mystique Ice Arena. David Fessenden made his first start in net for Sioux City and picked up his first win.

The Musketeers continue their Friday-Saturday road trip in Des Moines tomorrow night, game time is 7:05pm.

The Musketeers return to home ice on Sunday against Waterloo (126-15-0-2, 34 points). It will be the second and final time that the two teams play in Sioux City before taking the 4 game season series to Waterloo later in the season. Sioux City won the first game with The Black Hawks back on Sunday, October 18th in a high scoring 7-5 affair.

Fans who attend the game will be given coupons for a free order of Chicken Fries at game night sponsor, Burger King. Fans are also invited to stick around after the Sunday afternoon game to skate with the team immediately following the game. Skating is free for those who bring their own skates. Skates are available for rental for $3.00 per person for those who do not have their own skates.
