Muskegon's Elias Godoy named Easton UHL Rookie of the Month

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced Monday that Muskegon Fury center Elias Godoy has been named Easton UHL Rookie of the Month for November.

Godoy finished the month with 22 points (6g, 16a) and a plus-11 rating in 12 games played. He scored at least one point in 11 of the 12 games and had eight multi-point games during the month. His 12-game point streak was snapped on November 24th. That streak is the longest in the UHL this season. Godoy had an even or better plus/minus rating in all but one game in November. He netted the game-winning goal in the 6-5 win vs. Quad City on November 18th. The 25-year-old native of West Vancouver, British Columbia claims Rookie of the Month honors for the second consecutive month. He currently leads all UHL rookies in scoring with 34 points (11g, 23a) which also ranks second overall in the league.

Other players nominated for the Easton UHL Rookie of the Month include: Bloomington forward Mike Adamek, Chicago center Mike Brolsma, Elmira center David Morelli, Flint center Mike Zbriger, Fort Wayne center Martin Gascon, Kalamazoo right wing Justin Cross, Port Huron Flags center Ryan Markham, Quad City forward Justin Chwedoruk, and Rockford right wing Kaleb Betts.

The Easton UHL Rookie of the Month recognizes the performance of players who have played in 60 or fewer professional games and goaltenders who have played 3,600 or fewer professional minutes prior to this season.
