Murray Named Phantoms Player of the Month

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Phantoms announced today that center Marty Murray has been named the Toyota Phantoms Player of the Month for October.

Murray received the award from Philadelphia Flyers Director of Player Personnel Dave Brown in a pregame ceremony before Saturday night's game against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at the Wachovia Spectrum.

During the month of October, Murray led the Phantoms in scoring with two goals and nine assists for 11 points in nine games, and also registered a +2 rating.

The Phantoms play tomorrow afternoon at Hershey, and their next home game is Friday, November 10 against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 7:05 at the Wachovia Spectrum.
