Muncy and Lewicki Called to Houston

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release


The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League (CHL) announce on Monday that Killer Bees forwards Sean Muncy and Aaron Lewicki have been loaned to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL) and will play in their game against the San Antonio Rampage tonight.

Muncy and Lewicki have both been leaders for the Bees this season. Sean Muncy, a 6'0 forward, has 25 points in 28 games including 12 goals and 13 assists. Muncy has five goals in his last five games.

Aaron Lewicki has 22 points in 25 games including 12 goals and 10 assists. Lewicki is riding a hot streak with eight points in his last five games (4+4 =8).

"We pride ourselves in developing players at the Killer Bees and are very happy to see the hard work of Sean and Aaron pay off," head coach Chris Brooks said. "Seeing players called up the AHL proves that our system is working."
