Carolina Mudcats News Release
Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have announced one roster addition affecting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats prior to tonight's series finale against Mobile at Hank Aaron Stadium.
RHP Chris Mobley has been added to the Mudcats' roster, bringing Carolina to the Southern League limit of 24 players. Mobley replaces RHP Jimmy Serrano, who was placed on the temporary inactive list before yesterday's doubleheader. Mobley has spent the entire season with the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Florida State League, save one appearance for Triple-A Albuquerque in late May.
The Mudcats close the regular season series with Mobile tonight before heading to Montgomery to begin a five-game series with the Biscuits on Saturday night from Riverwalk Stadium.
Carolina returns home on Thursday, June 7th against the Tennessee Smokies. For ticket information, contact the Mudcats' ticket office at (919) 269-CATS or visit www.gomudcats.com.
