Mudcats-Stars Postponed

Huntsville, AL --- Carolina's series opener against the Huntsville Stars was postponed due to wet grounds. The series will start with a doubleheader Saturday at 5;43 PM ET with a pair of seven inning contests.

Matt Klinker will start the opener, with Pedro Villarreal starting the nightcap. Villarreal was slated to start tonight.

A pair of rain showers on Friday affected the left side of the infield, along with the Stars' bullpen, and after the game was delayed prior to several meetings between the umpires and managers, the game was ultimately postponed nearly 90 minutes after the original start time of 7:43 PM ET.
