Mudbugs Host "Hockey 101 for Women"

BOSSIER CITY, LA -- This Thursday January 15th, the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs will be hosting "Hockey 101 for Women" from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the CenturyTel Center. Mudbugs players will be on the ice along with Head Coach Scott Muscutt to demonstrate the rules of the game and answer questions to all ladies in attendance.

Admission to "Hockey 101 for Women" will include food and drinks, a tour of the Mudbugs locker room, a question-and-answer session with the team, and a chance to get an inside look at the game of hockey. All basic fundamentals of the sport will be discussed for newcomers to the game and further in-depth aspects will also help the experienced fans. The event is sponsored by Bodacious Bar-B-Q.

This weekend, the Mudbugs will begin a weekend tripleheader at the CenturyTel Center on Friday against the Lubbock Cotton Kings at 7:05 p.m. On Saturday, the Memphis RiverKings will visit Bossier City for a Northeast Division matchup at 7:05 p.m. Then on Sunday, the Mudbugs will host the Oklahoma City Blazers at 5:05 p.m., in a game that was originally scheduled for February 12th but was moved due to a scheduling conflict.
