Moose release St. Croix from PTO

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have released defenceman Chris St. Croix from his PTO. He will be returning to the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL.

St. Croix, 29, has appeared in six games for the Moose this season, collecting two penalty minutes since his recall from Las Vegas on Mar. 12/09. The Voorhees, New Jersey native has already played in 22 games with the Moose earlier in his career. From 2002-04, he scored two points (1-1-2) and 20 penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in the fourth round, 92nd overall, in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.

St. Croix has also appeared in 41 games so far this season with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL, where he has scored seven points (1-6-7) and recorded 33 penalty minutes, as well as eight games with the Elmira Jackals where he had three points (1-2-3) and four penalty minutes.
