Montreal Recalls Ryan White from Hamilton

MONTREAL, QC - The Montreal Canadiens announced today that centre Ryan White has been recalled from the Hamilton Bulldogs to Montreal. White will join the Canadiens in Montreal for tonight's game against the New York Islanders at Bell Centre.

White, 22, has played in 33 games with the Bulldogs this season recording 12 points (three goals, nine assists) while serving 77 penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 198-pound centre played in three games with the Canadiens earning five penalty minutes following his first recall of the season on January 20th. The native of Brandon, Manitoba was selected in the 3rd round, 66th overall by Montreal in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

The Bulldogs will host the Connecticut Whale on Friday, February 11th for a 7:00 p.m. game at Copps Coliseum. The 'Dogs will then meet the Rochester Americans for their annual " Pink in the Rink" game at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12th at Copps Coliseum. All regular season Hamilton Bulldogs broadcasts on AM 820 CHAM will begin with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
