Anaheim Reassigns Defenseman Eric Regan

Syracuse, NY (February 10, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have reassigned defenseman Eric Regan from Elmira (ECHL) to Syracuse.

Regan, 22, has appeared in three games for the Crunch this season, recording five penalty minutes. In addition, he has skated in 39 games for Elmira this year and leads all ECHL defensemen in scoring with 30 points (9g, 21a). A native of Whitby, Ontario, Regan has skated in 67 combined AHL games with the Crunch, Iowa and San Antonio since 2008-09, recording eight points (1g, 7a) and 47 penalty minutes.

The Crunch hit the road for the next three games, including back-to-back contests against Norfolk on Friday, February 11 and Saturday, February 12. Syracuse returns home to face San Antonio on Friday, February 18 at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena. Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 season are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
