MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, are asking the fans to participate in the Fans Choice Promotion to decide on the giveaway item and game presentation elements for the Monarchs game against the Providence Bruins at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Saturday, March 8, 2008.

Fans are asked to log onto www.manchestermonarchs.com and vote between November 1-30 on the anthem singer, the giveaway item, the opening song, the first and second period timeouts, as well as the first intermission game. The giveaway item choices for the night are a Jeff Giuliano Bobblehead, a Mr. Potato Head figurine with a white jersey or a Giuliano Figurine, courtesy of the official credit union of the Monarchs St. Mary's Bank. Fans have the choice of Muriel Sterling, Danielle Carrier, Lynda D'Amour or Chad Lamarsh to sing the National Anthem. The first period timeout will be a trivia game and the second period timeout will be a player spotlight video. The opening song will also be chosen by fans as well as the first intermission game of youth hockey, shoe scramble, human bowling or musical chairs.

"Our fans are instrumental in everything we do," said Monarchs Director of Marketing Phil Signoroni. "We wanted to give them the option of choosing different elements of our game and let them be part of the decision making process. It's a treat for us to be able to give our fans the right to choose."
