Moose Recall Coulombe from Victoria

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have recalled defencemen Patrick Coulombe from the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.

Coulombe, 22, has appeared in five games so far this season for Victoria. He scored the overtime winning goal in the Salmon Kings season opener, Oct. 19/07 at Idaho. In 43 games with the Moose in his career, the native of St-Fabien, PQ has scored six goals and nine assists for 22 penalty minutes. He has also played in one career Calder Cup playoff game last season. Coulombe also played in seven games last season with the Vancouver Canucks where he collected an assist and four penalty minutes.

Coulombe was originally signed by the Moose back on July 11/06.
