Jason Aldean to Perform at Miller Lite, FM 106 Country Music Night

Milwaukee, WI-Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that national recording artist Jason Aldean will perform at the team's annual Country Music Night, presented by FM 106 and Miller Lite. The concert will take place immediately after the Admirals February 8th game versus the Manitoba Moose.

"Country Music Night has always been one our most successful and exciting promotions," noted Greenberg. "Jason Aldean is one of the top up-and-comers in the country music industry and I know that he will put on a fantastic show for our fans."

Aldean, who recently toured with Rascal Flatts, has been nominated for the Horizon Award, given to the outstanding new artist each year at the Country Music Awards which take place on November 7th in Nashville.

He spent his early year honing his skills on the country music scene in Nashville before hitting it big in 2005 with his self-titled first album which was produced by Broken Bow Records and went platinum. The album made it to number eight in the US Country charts and included the smash hit "Why" which made it to number one.

Other singles from his first album include "Hicktown," which climbed to number 10 in the Country Music Charts, and "Amarillo Sky" which made it to number four.

Earlier in 2007 Aldean released his second album entitled Relentless, which has been an instant success. It has already been certified gold and made it to the number one slot in the in the country charts and number four on the all-genre Billboard 200. A pair of singles from the album, "Johnny Cash" and "Laughed Until We Cried," have both cracked the charts as well.
