San Antonio Missions News Release
FRISCO--Mike Olt's three-run blast highlighted a five-run sixth inning as the Missions snapped an 11-game losing streak to Frisco by winning the series opener Friday night at Dr. Pepper Ballpark.
San Antonio trailed 3-0 to start the sixth. Auston Bousfield and Nick Schulz walked to set up Olt's long homerun to left. It was his fourth homer of the season and extended his on-base streak to 16 games.
Kyle Lloyd made his first start of the year after working out of the bullpen for his first 10 appearances. Lloyd allowed three runs over four innings.
Four Missions relievers combined to allow one run over the final five innings, with Jason Jester converting his sixth save in as many chances.
The Missions also snapped a four-game losing streak with the win.
