
Missions Add LHP Philip Barzilla; RHP Tim Stauffer Transferred to Triple-A

San Antonio Missions News Release
SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Missions announced today that left-handed pitcher Philip Barzilla has been added to the roster. Right-handed pitcher Tim Stauffer will be transferred to Triple-A Portland.
Barzilla, 30, pitched in 34 games with the Missions last season, going 2-2 with a 3.78 ERA (21 ER/50.0 IP). He is in his ninth season of professional baseball, and has made one appearance in the Major Leagues with Houston in 2006.
Stauffer will move to Triple-A Portland and will not be available for tonight's game. He went 1-0 with one save and a 1.89 ERA (4 ER/19.0 IP) over 12 appearances with the Missions.
