
Miss America to Appear at CommunityAmerica Ballpark Tonight

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones have announced that Miss America, Mallory Hytes Hagan, will be at CommunityAmerica Ballpark to throw out a first pitch Tuesday.
WHAT: Miss America 2013, Mallory Hytes Hagan, will throw out a first pitch before the T-Bones host Gary SouthShore at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. She then will be signing autographs in the team store, the Meat Locker, from 7:20-8:00 p.m.
WHEN: Tuesday night, Aug. 27. Her first pitch will be at approximately 6:45 p.m.
WHY: Mallory Hytes Hagan won the Miss America competition on a platform of child sexual abuse awareness and prevention. She is in Kansas City to speak at the Sunflower House Circle of Safety Fundraising Breakfast, followed by a tour of the Children's Mercy Section on Child Abuse and Neglect.
