
Minnesota Wild Recalls Forward Brett Bulmer

Des Moines, IA - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Thursday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Brett Bulmer from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Bulmer, 21 (4/26/92), has recorded 12 points (9-312), 20 penalty minutes (PIM) and three power-play goals in 21 games with Iowa this season. He leads the team in goals and shots (62) and ranks third in scoring. The 6-foot-4, 212-pound native of Prince George, B.C., tallied seven points (4-37) and 41 PIM in 43 contests with Houston (AHL) last season. Bulmer began the 2011-12 season with Minnesota and skated in nine NHL contests totaling three assists, six PIM and a plus-1 rating before being reassigned to the Kelowna Rockets in the Western Hockey League (WHL) on Oct. 31, 2011. He made his NHL debut in the Wild season opener against Columbus on Oct. 8, 2011 and last appeared in an NHL game on Oct. 27, 2011 vs. Anaheim. Bulmer was selected by Minnesota in the second round (No. 39) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
The Wild concludes its six-game road trip on Thursday, Dec. 12, at Abbotsford at 9 PM (CT). Iowa returns home on Sunday, Dec. 15 to host Rockford at 4:05 p.m. For Sunday's game, the team will hold its first Teddy Bear Toss, where fans are encouraged to throw a stuffed animal on the ice for charity. Fans will be permitted to through Teddy Bears on the ice after the Wild score its first goal of the night. Fans may purchase the Subway Family Four Pack for the game, which features four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and Subway coupons starting at $44. The game marks the beginning of a six-game homestand for the Wild. Grand Rapids visits on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7:05 p.m. Hamilton will visit on Friday, Dec. 20 and San Antonio on Saturday, Dec. 21.
