Military & Teacher Appreciation Night with the Boise Hawks

BOISE, ID - Your Boise Hawks are hosting a "Military & Teacher Appreciation Night" at Memorial Stadium Friday, August 31 and invite all active duty and retired military members and teachers to join in the fun. There will be $5 3B seats and $1 1B seats available.

There will be giveaways throughout the game for the honored guests. "Two of the most important people in our community are the military and the ones who educate our children. It is our honor to provide this deal and we hope that many military members and teachers join us on August 31," said Hawks' President/GM Todd Rahr.

Friday is also the last fireworks show of the season and Football Night sponsored by Sport Clips with a football surprise giveaway.

Tickets can be purchased at the Boise Hawks Box Office with a valid school faculty or active duty/retired military i.d. card. Fans can find out more information on the Hawks playoff run including tickets, possible game information, and format by visiting the box office and guest relations.

The Hawks began Northwest League play as an independent club from 1987-89. The team was affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from 1990-2000 and have been with the Chicago Cubs since 2001. The club has won 6 NWL Championships, the most recent banner coming in 2004.
