(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, BC) - It was not the type of déjà vu that the Canadians were hoping for on Thursday night as for the second straight game, Boise produced 11 runs on 17 hits to top Vancouver 11-5 out at sold out Scotiabank Field.

The Canadians would jump out to a two run lead in the bottom of the 1st inning when 1B Balbino Fuenmayor hit his 16th double of the season off of Boise starter RHP Hayden Simpson that scored both CF Ian Parmley (walk) and 3B Kellen Sweeney (single).

The Hawks offense would take flight shortly after scoring nine runs between the 2nd and 5th inning to give Boise a 9-2 lead before Vancouver grabbed a run in the bottom of the 5th with RF Matt Newman driving home 3B Kellen Sweeney (single).

Vancouver would trail 11-3 heading into the bottom of the 8th inning before managing a pair of runs off of erratic Boise RHP Su-Min Jung who would walk four hitters allowing the Canadians to grab a pair of runs, but with the bases loaded, LF Dwight Smith Jr. would strike out for the fifth time on the night leaving the score 11-5, which would be the final.
