Mike Cornell Suspended Two Games

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (Dec. 17, 2013) - The American Hockey League today announced that Bridgeport Sound Tigers defenseman Mike Cornell has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a match penalty for an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game at Manchester on Dec. 15.

Cornell will miss Bridgeport's games Friday (Dec. 20) at Hartford and Saturday (Dec. 21) vs. Manchester.
