Syracuse Crunch Return Carl Nielsen to ECHL's Everblades

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Crunch have returned right wing Carl Nielsen to the ECHL's Florida Everblades, Crunch GM Julien BriseBois announced today.

Nielsen, 25, was scoreless in seven games with the Crunch since being recalled on Nov. 16. The winger had appeared in two games with the Crunch during the 2012-13 season after competing for four years at Michigan Tech. The Lorain, OH. native collected 20 points (4g, 16a) in 140 career NCAA games. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound winger has played in 12 games for the Everblades this season, collecting four points (1g, 3a) to go along with a plus -1 and 24 penalty minutes.
