ALBANY, NY - For the fourth consecutive season, the Albany Devils and GE will team up for "GE Kids In Free Day" at Times Union Center. This year's event will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11 when the Devils host the Manchester Monarchs at 5 pm. All children 12-and-under will receive free admission when accompanied by an adult with a ticket.

"'GE Kids In Free Day' is one of the promotional highlights of our season," said Albany Devils CEO Christopher Ciceri. "We are excited to partner with GE for the fourth straight year and there is no doubt this will be the biggest and best yet."

The first 1,000 kids to arrive will receive a GE sponsored, Devils t-shirt. Children will be the focus of the day with a wide array of activities targeted at the youth during breaks in the action. The game will also feature a birthday celebration of the team's mascot, Devil Dawg.

Last year's Albany Devils "GE Kids In Free Day" was held on Jan. 12, 2013 and the event drew the second largest crowd of the season.

GE is among the largest private-sector employers in the Capital Region, with more than 7,000 employees helping to power, move, build and cure the world. The "GE Kids In Free Days" series of events is part of the company's broad-based community sponsorship program in communities where the company does business and its employees live.
