Bulldogs' Toy Toss Collects 3,000 Toys for Underprivileged Children

HAMILTON, ONTARIO - Hamilton Bulldogs President Stephen Ostaszewicz announced today that nearly 3,000 toys from the club's annual Toy Toss Night will go to underprivileged children in the Hamilton area this holiday season.

"Each year, it's amazing to see the community support behind our Toy Toss Night," said Ostaszewicz. "We thank our loyal fans for their generous donations, which will brighten the holiday season for thousands of children in the Hamilton area."

The Bulldogs held their annual Toy Toss Night on Friday, December 13th. On Tuesday afternoon, the toys were delivered to Corus Entertainment in Hamilton, where the CHML/Y108/953 Fresh FM Children's Fund will disperse the toys to local charities in time for Christmas.

Hamilton's next game is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18th, when they will travel to Chicago, Illinois to take on the Chicago Wolves (AHL Affiliate of the St. Louis Blues) at 12:00 p.m. The 'Dogs return to Copps Coliseum on Sunday, December 22nd, when they will host the Abbotsford Heat (AHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames) at 3:00 p.m.
