Nashville Predators Recall Hellberg from Milwaukee

Nashville, Tenn. (December 17, 2013) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled goaltender Magnus Hellberg (MAG-nuhs HEL-buhrg) from Milwaukee (AHL) under emergency conditions.

Hellberg, 22 (4/4/91), has been recalled on one other occasion this season, making his NHL debut on Oct. 26 against St. Louis. In his second season with the Admirals, the Uppsala, Sweden native has posted a 4-10-1 record, a 2.78 goals-against average, a .914 save percentage and one shutout.

The Nashville Predators take on the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at 7 p.m. CT (102.5 FM The Game, FOX Sports Tennessee), the second time the Central Division rivals face-off this year.
