OMAHA, NE - When the Omaha Royals host the Albuquerque Isotopes this Saturday night, the team will be paying tribute to Michael Jackson, the pop music icon who is being mourned by the world following his shocking death on Thursday.

Fans who wear a rhinestone glove or who are named Billie Jean will get free admission to the 7:05 p.m. game. If you wear a glove on one hand (baseball gloves included), you will be able to buy one ticket and get one free.

In tribute to Jackson's 1982 album Thriller - the biggest selling album of all time that has sold nearly 50-million copies to date - the Royals will hold a Thriller dance-off contest on the field.

Jackson's hit songs such as "Billie Jean", "Beat It", "Smooth Criminal" and many more will be played between innings all night long.

The game will also feature Michael Jackson-themed giveaways to fans. And in memory of his famous pet, bubbles will be on hand in the stadium's front plaza.

"Michael Jackson made such an impression on the world, it is only fitting we pay tribute to the ‘King of Pop'" said Royals Vice President/General Manager Martie Cordaro. "Personally, he was one of my main influences to begin playing music and later become a professional drummer."

For tickets, call the Royals ticket office at (402) 738-5100, or order and print tickets online at www.oroyals.com and at www.Etix.com.
