
Mets to Recall Bisons RHP Elvin Ramirez on Sunday

The New York Mets today announced that they will recall RHP ELVIN RAMIREZ from the Buffalo Bisons prior to their game against the Dodgers on Sunday afternoon at Citi Field (1:10 p.m.).
Ramirez has made 21 relief appearances for the Bisons with a 3-0 record, a 2.28ERA and one save. Over 27.2 innings of work, the righty has allowed just 19 hits while striking out 27 batters.
This will be the second time Ramirez is promoted to New York. He made his major league debut with the Mets following a call-up on June 1. In three weeks with New York, the reliever was 0-1 with a 9.00ERA in five appearances (7.0IP, 11H, 6K).
