
Mets and Hammerheads Suspended, Game Tied 1-1

JUPITER, Fla. (August 13, 2015) - Thursday's game between the St. Lucie Mets and Jupiter Hammerheads at Roger Dean Stadium has been suspended due to inclement weather.
The game is tied 1-1 with two outs in the bottom of the first inning with Austin Dean on first base for the Hammerheads.
The teams will pick up the suspended game on Friday at 5:05 p.m. at Roger Dean Stadium. It will be a full nine-inning contest. Approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the suspended game, the Mets and Hammerheads will begin a seven-inning game.
On Thursday, David Wright continued his rehab assignment and outfielder Kirk Nieuwenhuis joined St. Lucie to start a rehab assignment. Nieuwenhuis batted second and drew a walk on seven pitches from Jose Adames. Wright followed by striking out looking.
Jeff McNeil led off the game with a double and scored on a sac fly by Matt Oberste.
In the bottom of the first, Yefri Perez drew a leadoff walk from Mickey Jannis. Perez stole second, advanced to third on a ground out and scored on a wild pitch to tie the game.
Wright did not get a chance to field a ball at third base. Nieuwenhuis did not get a ball hit to him in center.
