It took until the second period but Liam Kindree(4) got things started for Kelowna 1:17 in to the middle frame. Dillon Dube(14) extended Kelowna's lead at 14:41, and with 53.6 seconds to play in the second period Carsen Twarynski(15) notched the Rockets fourth shorthanded goal of the season. Kelowna took a 3-0 lead into the final stanza.

James Hilsendager(4) took a point shot that found it's way through traffic to give the Rockets a 4-0 cushion 1:16 in to the third. Kelowna held on to that lead for the remainder to take it 4-0.

Kelowna enjoyed multi-point evenings from Carsen Twarynski(1G, 2A), Dillon Dube(1G,1A), Liam Kindree(1G, 1A), and Kaedan Korczak(2A).

Roman Basran recorded a shutout in his first career WHL start turning aside all 38 shots he faced as Kelowna was out shot 38-16. His record improves to 1-0-0-0.

The Rockets record improves to 14-8-2-1.

Kelowna's next opponent comes on Wednesday when their divisional rival the Prince George Cougars visit Prospera Place for another Hat-Trick Wednesday. Purchase your ticket before 2:00pm on Wednesday and for $19.99 you get the sweet deal of a hot dog, a pop, and a ticket to the game.
