FRESNO, Calif. â Hockey season is officially underway in Fresno, so now its time to meet the new Falcons players! On Wednesday night, Oct. 23, ten Falcons players will be appearing at Center Court at Sierra Vista Mall, along with Freddie Falcon and the Port of Subs Slap Shot game. Players will be available for photos and autographs from 6-8 p.m.
The following players are scheduled to appear: Kevin Haupt, Steve Lowe, Jordan Landry, Colin Embley, Austin de Luis, Iain Fraser, Justin Barauskas, Mark Gowan, Kayle Short, and Scott Borders.
The Falcons kicked off the 2002-03 season at home last weekend with three straight victories over the Idaho Steelheads and Anchorage Aces. The Falcons next home game is Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m., when the Evil San Diego Gulls come into town for a pre-Halloween showdown at Selland Arena. The Falcons will be wearing Halloween jerseys, so wear your Halloween costume to the game! It's also a Two for Tuesday game, sponsored by Carl's Jr., KRZR, and KMPH Fox 26.
