
Pietersma Claimed off Waivers

BILOXI, Miss. â Mississippi Sea Wolves coach Bob Woods announced today right wing Stu Pietersma (PEETERS-mah) has been claimed off waivers from the Wheeling Nailers.
Pietersma, 21, played three games with Wheeling this season picking up 19 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound rookie from Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta is expected to debut with the Sea Wolves this weekend.
The Sea Wolves take to the ice on Friday at 7:05 p.m. at Baton Rouge. The game broadcast will be delayed until after football coverage on Q 92.5 and across the Mississippi website through the Sea Wolves partnership with SportsJuice.com.
Mississippi returns home for games Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, the Sea Wolves host Pensacola at 7:35 p.m.
On Sunday, Mississippi welcomes Baton Rouge to the Wolves Den. The opening faceoff is at 5:05 p.m. Following the game on Sunday, it's the annual Trick or Treat with the Sea Wolves. Yellow Book is supplying the bags, while the Booster Club is providing the candy! An adult purchasing an individual game ticket, receives one FREE ticket for a child 12 and under.
