
Toledo's Bootland Suspended Two Games

PRINCETON, N.J. - The East Coast Hockey League announced on Tuesday that Toledo forward Darryl Bootland has been suspended two games for his actions in ECHL Game 57 at Toledo on October 19.
At 6:13 of the third period, Bootland was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct under Rule 48(a) Checking From Behind which pursuant to ECHL rules is an automatic one-game suspension. Bootland is suspended an additional game under Rule 33(a) Supplementary Discipline.
Bootland served the first game of his suspension vs. Lexington on October 20 and will miss Toledo's game vs. Wheeling (Oct. 25).
