Former Buffalo Bills star Steve Tasker will meet fans and sign autographs at Frontier Field on Thursday, July 9 when the Red Wings host the Buffalo Bisons at 7:05 p.m. Tasker's appearance is made possible by Legacy Financial Planning, LLC.
To ensure that as many fans as possible have the chance to meet Tasker and get an autograph, fans are reminded that
*there is a limit of one autograph per fan.
*there will be a posted time frame for the autograph sessions (listed below)
*time does not permit fans to ask to pose for individual photos with our guests
*there may be a restriction on what type of items will be signed (listed below), and personal inscriptions are at the sole discretion of our guest
*the autograph session will take place regardless of the weather, and regardless of whether the game is delayed or played. The gates will open at the scheduled time regardless of the weather conditions.
Tasker will sign from 6-6:45 p.m., and again from 7:05-8:00 p.m. The autograph session will take place in front of the Red Wings Hall of Fame, first base concourse between Mama Mittsy's Pizza Kitchen and Pop 'N' Hots. Fans are welcome to bring one item of their own to be signed; baseballs and photos will be available for purchase in the autograph area.
Steve Tasker played 13 NFL seasons, represented the Bills in seven Pro Bowls, and was named the game's MVP in 1993. He is the NFL's first special teams player to play in seven Pro Bowls. Tasker was a standout in kick and punt coverage teams, and had 204 career special teams tackles and seven blocked punts. He averaged 10.1 and 21.1 yards per punt and kick return. He also caught 51 passes for 779 yards and nine touchdowns, and held for extra points and field goals. Tasker was inducted into the Bills' Wall of Fame in 2007, and the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame in 2001. He is currently a color commentator for CBS Sports coverage of NFL games.
