FRASER, MI--Greg Bullock and the penalty kill give the Mechanics their fifth win in a row and fifth win in a row at home as they outscore the Mallards 3-2 in front of 2,134 fans at the "Garage."
Greg Bullock, Mike Burgoyne and Scott Dobben all scored for the Mechanics, including two shorthanded goals in the second period. On Dobbens goal in the second, Bullock tallied the assist making it his 5th straight game with a point. Peter Szabo also netted an assist making it 5 points in his last 6 games.
Rod Branch started his 12th straight game and won his 12th game of the young season making 19 saves.
The Mechanics return home next Saturday when the Port Huron Flags come to town. That night also marks the Holiday Ornament giveaway sponsored by 106.7 The Drive and Final Cut.
