
Mechanics Fall To The Flags 5-3

FRASER, MI-Adam Edinger scored two more goals, however, the Mechanics fall to the Flags as Aaron Brand and his counterparts defeat the Mechanics 5-3 and snap their six game winning streak in front of 2,319 fans at the "Garage."
The Mechanics jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead and Adam Edinger recorded his 300th point on the assist on the second goal. The Flags responded with three unanswered goals to take a 3-2 lead in the middle of the second period. The Mechanics responded less than a minute later when Peter Szabo scored to tie the game at 3-3.
The Flags scored two more in the third to ice the game.
Rod Branch made his 14th straight start and made 37 saves in the loss.
The Mechanics return home tomorrow to host their conference rival Flint Generals at 5 pm on Brent Gretzky Kids t-shirt Night presented by Magic 105.1 and Christian Financial Credit Union.
