North Little Rock, AR - The Arkansas Travelers walked off for the sixth time this season with a 1-0 win over the San Antonio Missions on Thursday at Dickey-Stephens Park.

With neither team on the board in the bottom of the ninth, CF Jared Mitchell lined his third hit of the game up the middle and stole second. 3B Drew Maggi then lined a ball to right that went off the glove of right fielder Tyson Gillies and allowed Mitchell to score the game-winning run.

RHP Kyle McGowin tossed seven three-hit innings for Arkansas, with just two walks and three strikeouts. McGowin has not allowed an earned run over his last 15 innings pitched.

RHP Kurt Spomer (W, 2-1) worked the final two innings to finish the game for Arkansas and earn his second win of the season. Spomer did not surrender a hit.

Mitchell finished 3-for-4 with the stolen base and the run.

Arkansas went 0-for-11 with runners in scoring position and the two teams finished a combined 0-for-15 in that situation. The Travs and Missions also left a combined 15 men on base.

Arkansas has won six games in a row and has a team ERA of 1.44 (8 ER / 50 IP) over that stretch.

The Travs are tied for the Minor League-lead with 14 one-run wins this season. Arkansas is now 10-1 at home in one-run games.

C Zach Wright had two caught stealings and a pick-off in the game for the Travelers.

With the win, Arkansas improved to 27-19 on the season and remains 3.5 games behind the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in the Texas League North.

The Travs will welcome the Corpus Christi Hooks to town for a three game series beginning Friday at Dickey-Stephens Park. RHP Alan Busenitz (1-4, 6.63) will take on RHP Chris Devenski (5-0, 0.66). First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
