North Little Rock, AR - The Arkansas Travelers were no-hit by the Corpus Christi Hooks in a rain-shorted 4-0 game on Friday night at Dickey-Stephens Park.

With one out and CF Jared Mitchell on second base in the bottom of the sixth, the skies opened up and the tarp was brought out to cover the field. The game was called after about a 45 minutes delay.

RHP Chris Devenski (W, 6-0) lowered hit season ERA to 0.59 with five innings of work, surrendering a walk with four strikeouts.

LHP Josh Hader pitched to two batters in the sixth, walking Mitchell and recording a groundout of LF Drew Maggi.

The no-hitter is the first in Hooks history.

RF Cal Towey drew a two-out walk in the first inning, but Devenski retired each of the next 13 Travs in order.

With the loss, Arkansas' six-game winning streak was snapped. The Travs fell to 27-20 on the season.

Arkansas and Corpus Christi will play the middle game of the three-game series on Saturday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. RHP Albert Suarez (4-3, 2.91) will toe the rubber for the Travs and will be opposed by LHP Brian Holmes (3-1, 2.82). Saturday is Clunker Boat Night at Dickey-Stephens Park with first pitch scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
