McCollum and Phillips in with Pearce, Palmer and Krantz out

Toledo Walleye News Release
(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced today that goaltender Thomas McCollum has been assigned to Toledo and that goaltender Jordan Pearce has been recalled. In a separate move, goaltender Joe Palmer has been recalled to Rockford. Also today, the Walleye have signed defenseman David Phillips and Christian Davis as an emergency backup goaltender. The team then sent defenseman Doug Krantz to Ontario in a trade for future considerations.
McCollum has spent the whole season with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL. The former first round pick of the Detroit Red Wings has posted a 5-10-2 record this year with a 3.11 goals against average and a .884 save percentage. Phillips rejoins the Walleye after playing four games in Toledo earlier this season. He had one assist with Toledo. The England native has played 13 games this year with Gwinnett with 5 assists.
Pearce leaves Toledo with a 3-4-1-0 record with the Walleye and a 4.13 GAA and a .883 SVP. Jordan was with the Griffins earlier this year. Krantz appeared in 13 games with the Walleye since being acquired from Cincinnati with no points.
