The Condors and Thunder renew their rivalry with the first of back-to-back games at Rabobank Arena. They will meet again Monday night at 7 p.m. Bakersfield is 2-3-0 against Stockton on the season, winning 5-3 in their last meeting on Dec. 10. The home team has won all five games in the season series, and the two clubs have five more confrontations on the docket after tonight over the remainder of the season - three in Bakersfield and two in Stockton. Since the first head-to-head game was played in 2005-06, the Condors are 29-17-3 against Stockton.
Condors misc:
LW Brad Snetsinger is expected to make his Condors debut tonight, after being acquired from Utah on Tuesday. Snetsinger, 23, led the Grizzlies in goals, assists and points at the time of the trade... Condors G Josh Tordjman has won four in a row and dropped his goals against average (GAA) from 3.27 to 2.85 in that stretch, allowing just one goal in three of the four games. Tordjman was selected the ECHL Goalie of the Week last week after a pair of victories against Ontario... D Jean-Francois David (3g-4a) and F Slava Trukhno (1g-7a) both have a five-game point streak coming into tonight's game... Trukhno has recorded two or more points in five of his 11 games on the season... The Condors have had to defend three penalty shots already this season (stopping two of three) but have yet to be awarded one... RW Erick Lizon remains in the American Hockey League, on try-out with the Worcester (Mass.) Sharks. He ranks 2nd in the ECHL with 117 penalty minutes on the season.
Transactions:
C Rylan Kaip was placed on 3-day IR on Thursday. He is eligible to be activated today but remains on IR... RW Pascal Morency was placed on the 7-day IR last Wednesday. He is eligible to be activated this Wednesday... D Joey Ryan was transferred from the 7-day to the 21-day IR on Wednesday. He is eligible to be activated on Jan. 10... The Condors acquired LW Brad Snetsinger from Utah on Tuesday in exchange for future considerations... C Joel Broda and C Pete Zingoni were both reassigned to Houston (AHL) by Minnesota on Dec. 20.
