
Mavs Energizing First Period Leads to 5-2 Win over Utah

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The Kansas City Mavericks defeated the Utah Grizzlies 5-2 Monday night at the Maverik Center. Brodie Reid, Lane Scheidl, Bryan Lemos, and Luke Bafia netted goals for the Mavericks. Goaltender Matt Greenfield stopped 38 shots. The Mavericks return to action Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. against the Wichita Thunder at INTRUST Bank Arena.
