Previewing This Week

Tuesday, Nov. 15 vs. Allen - 10:35 a.m. | Home vs. ALN (0-0-0), Away vs. ALN (0-2-0)

The Mavericks and Americans get together this week for the first time since opening weekend (October 15 and 16) in Allen. The Americans grabbed a pair of wins (6-3 and 4-0) on that weekend, but have gone 4-7-0 in their 11 games since. On the flip side, the Mavericks are 3-5-1 since opening weekend. Tuesday is the first of six home games for the Mavericks against Allen. They will also face the Americans in their next home game on November 30, but won't see Allen at home again until March 3, 2017. Missouri went 3-2-0 against Allen at home during the regular season last year. Tuesday's matchup will feature two of the highest scoring defensemen in the league in Missouri's Jesse Graham (10pts., 2g, 8a) and Allen's Eric Roy (11pts., 3g, 8a).

Saturday, Nov. 19 at Florida - 6:00 p.m. | Home vs. FLA (0-0-0), Away vs. FLA (0-0-0)

Saturday is a historic day for the Mavericks as they will play their first-ever game in the state of Florida when they take on the Everblades. Florida is the only team in the league yet to lose in regulation (10-0-1) and sports the best win percentage (.955) in the league. Saturday will mark a homecoming, of sorts, for Missouri's Rocco Carzo and Jesse Graham. They each spent a portion of their respective rookie seasons (47 games for Carzo in 13-14 & 23 games for Graham in 14-15) with the Everblades.

Recapping Last Week

Fri., Nov. 11 vs. Fort Wayne: L 4-6

The Mavericks held a 2-1 lead through 20 minutes of play thanks to goals from Dane Fox and Rocco Carzo. But Fort Wayne stormed back with four unanswered goals in just over 30 minutes of game play to go ahead 5-2. Missouri scored twice in the final 3:29 of play but it wasn't enough to overcome the Komets' surge. [1]Full Recap >>>

Sat., Nov. 12 vs. Fort Wayne: L 1-6

Shawn Pauly recorded his first professional goal, but it only served to break up Eric Hartzell's shutout bid late in the third period. A four-goal first period put the Komets in control and the Mavericks could not draw close enough to make a comeback attempt. [2]Full Recap >>>

Mavs Moments

- Dane Fox had a four-game point streak snapped on Saturday vs. Fort Wayne. During the streak he produced eight points (3g, 5a) and moved into the Mavericks' team lead in scoring.

- Rocco Carzo reached 100 career assists with his helper on Friday, Nov. 11 against Fort Wayne. He has 45 assists through 80 career games as a Maverick.

- Lukas Lofquist was held without a point over his first three professional games, but he has been over a point per game since then. His first pro point was an assist on Oct. 28 in Brampton and that sparked a stretch of seven points (4g, 3a) over six games. Lofquist also has a +4 rating in that time.

- Jesse Graham is tied for fourth among ECHL defensemen with 10 points (2g, 8a) this season. Every game in which he has scored a point has been a multi-point effort including a career-best four assists on Nov. 5 vs. Tulsa.

- The Mavericks lead the league in power play chances with 67 through 11 games. They have earned at least four power play opportunities in 10 of their 11 games so far this season.
