
Mavericks Recall Sean Williams from Legends

Frisco, TX MAR. 04, 2012 - The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have recalled forward Sean Williams from the Texas Legends, the teams' NBA Development League affiliate.
Williams (6-10, 235) has played in 22 games for the Legends the season averaging 15.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks in 28.5 minutes. Currently Williams is shooting 50.6% from the field while making a career best 76.6% of his free-throw attempts.
Williams ranks second in the NBA Development League in blocks and has three games with five or more rejections. The Legends are 14-8 with Williams in the line-up and currently hold a six game winning streak.
Sean Williams has appeared in three games for the 2011-12 Dallas Mavericks registering 4.7 points and 2.0 rebounds in 5.7 minutes.
The Legends (19-18) next play on Sunday against the Austin Toros (22-14) at the Cedar Park Center in Cedar Park, Texas at 3:00PM CST.
