BAKERSFIELD, March 4, 2012 - Poor second half performance by the Bakersfield Jam (20-17) results in a road loss to the Reno Bighorns (18-19) with a final score of 118-95. The Jam ends their seven-game road trip with a 4-3 record. Bakersfield led by as many as 10 points in the second quarter but Reno was able to cut that lead down to just three points to end the first half (64-61). The Bighorns, behind Andre Emmet's 11 point performance in the third period alone, gained momentum in the game and took a 91-88 lead heading into the final period. Bakersfield could not respond back as they never found the range in the fourth and went ice cold from the field shooting 28.0% (7-of-25).

Bakersfield had five players scoring in double figures with Osiris Eldridge leading the way with 20 off the bench. Jeremy Wise scored 18 points and dished out 5 assists while Adam Koch added 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Jamie Vanderbeken finished with 10 points and Los Angeles Clippers assignee Travis Leslie contributed 12 points off the bench.

Reno's starting backcourt of Blake Ahearn and Andre Emmett combined to score 54 points, each with 27. Also in double digit scoring for the Bighorns was Zach Graham (23) and Mo Charlo (16).

Bakersfield returns home to face up against the Dakota Wizards Friday, March 9 at the Jam Events Center at 7:00 p.m. PT.
