March 4, 2012 - NBA G League (G League)
Reno Bighorns News Release
RENO, NEV.- In Mo Charlo's second game back with the Reno Bighorns after missing eight games due to an injury, he showed his powerful presence with 16 points, 14 rebounds and five assists in a 118-105 victory over the Bakersfield Jam on Sunday.
Blake Ahearn and Andre Emmett, the NBA D-League's top scorers, both had 27 points in the victory, while Zach graham posted 23 points and five rebounds. Osiris Eldridge led the Jam with 23 points and six rebounds.
The Bighorns were down three points at halftime but used a strong third quarter, led by Emmett's timely three pointers, to take the lead and seal the victory. Emmett was 4-of-6 on three pointers while Graham was 5-of-7. As a team, the Bighorns shot 59.3 percent from beyond the arc.
Charlo provided the energy the Bighorns have been looking for, with six offensive rebounds, including numerous putbacks that bailed the team out of missed shots.
The Bighorns hit the road for a game against the Erie Bayhawks on Friday, March 9 at the Tulio Arena. The team returns to Reno for a two-game homestand against the Dakota Wizards on March 16 and 17 at the Reno Events Center.
Reno Bighorns group ticket packages are on sale today. Groups can experience one of the many Fan Experience Packages, including playing a game on the Bighorns court or performing a routine at halftime of a game. For more information call (775)853-8220 or visit RenoBighorns.com.
