ADELANTO, Calif. - In honor of the upcoming Independence Day holiday, the 2016 First-Half South Division Champion High Desert Mavericks, Advanced-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, are hosting an Independence Weekend of post-game FIREWORKS shows at Heritage Field. On Saturday, July 2, the post-game FIREWORKS show will feature a regular Skyrocket Saturday show, and on Sunday, July 3, a spectacular Independence Day FIREWORKS show will light up the High Desert sky for nearly 20 minutes.
On July 3, the parking lot at Heritage Field will open early at 4:30 P.M. with a cost of $5.00 per car. No trailers or RV's will be permitted into the parking lot for tailgating. Propane or gas grills will be allowed for tailgating - no charcoal grills will be permitted in the parking lot. As always, handicap accessible parking is available in the parking lot at Heritage Field at no cost, but spots are limited. Please bring you own trash bags and feel free to leave them in the parking lot as clean up crews will pick them up after the game.
