
San Jose Giants and Comcast to Host 4th of July Fireworks Celebration

SAN JOSE, CA - The San Jose Giants are proud to announce the 4th of July Celebration at Municipal Stadium immediately following the conclusion of their 6:30 PM game on Monday, July 4. Comcast is the principal sponsor of the annual fireworks show and the game will be broadcasted live on Comcast Hometown Network Channel 104 SD/ 819 HD, along with the postgame fireworks show. Fans can also watch the night sky light up above Municipal Stadium on Tuesday, July 5 with an additional Independence Day fireworks extravaganza.
On July 4, day of game parking will be available for the Giants game beginning at 1:00 PM for $15 per car in the Municipal Stadium Parking Lot entering through Sharks Ice on 10th Street, once full, all game parking will be directed to Bud Winter Field. Fans should plan on arriving early to the game as parking may take additional time with a sold out crowd.
Fans coming to the game on Monday, July 4 should be aware of necessary road closures. Beginning at 9:00 AM, Alma Avenue will be closed between 10th Street and Senter Road. Season Ticket Holders with a San Jose Giants Parking Pass, fans carrying a DMV issued disabled persons' placard and early arriving fans can enter the San Jose Giants Main Parking Lot from Sharks Ice entrance on 10th Street starting at 1:00 PM. Only a limited number of handicap parking spots will be available. Baseball fans can enter the Bud Winter Field on 10th Street near Humboldt Street once the main lot is filled. Fireworks spectators can also begin parking in the 7th street lot and Bud Winter Field beginning at 7:00 PM. There will be no tailgating permitted in any of the parking lots.
Gates for the San Jose Giants game will open at 5:00 PM on both Monday and Tuesday. A limited number of San Jose Giants game tickets for July 4 and July 5 are still available.
