Mastriani Joins Defenders Staff

NORWICH, CT- The Defenders have added Dave Mastriani to their Front Office Staff as the teams new Senior Director of Corporate Sales, the team announced today.

"We are excited to welcome Dave to our staff. He brings significant corporate experience to an already strong group. Our ownership group, headed by Lou DiBella is committed to giving us the resources to ensure that the CT Defenders can continue to provide quality, inexpensive family entertainment," said General Manager Charlie Dowd.

Mastriani's main duties will be building relationships/partnerships with major corporations within New England.

"I am very excited and energized to join the Defenders family and hope to be an asset to the team. I welcome and appreciate the opportunity to start a new career in my passion, baseball," said Mastriani.

Mastriani joins the team after spending some time with Colgate Palmolive as their National Sales Manager the past year and a half. Prior to that, he was with Georgia Pacific for 14 years holding a variety of roles with increasing responsibility including Customer Service, Category Management, Logistics, and Trade Management & Sales.

The Danbury, CT native graduated from Southern Connecticut State University and was a member of the baseball team as a utility player. He currently resides in Salisbury Mills, NY with his wife Terri and their son, Frankie.
