
Baysox, R-Phils Suspended In Second

(Bowie, MD) - Tuesday's game between the Baysox and the Reading Phillies was suspended in the top of the second inning due to rain. The game will be resumed Wednesday, June 4th at 6:05 p.m. as part of a doubleheader. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Reading was leading Bowie 1-0 when play was stopped due to rain.
When play resumes on Wednesday, Mike Eylward will be up to bat with an 0-2 count with a runner on first base with two outs. The first game will be played through nine innings. Wednesday's regularly scheduled game will be a seven-inning game, beginning 30 minutes after the completion of the first game.
Tickets for Tuesday's game may be exchanged for a ticket of equal value to any remaining 2008 regular season home game - NOT INCLUDING July 4th. Fans can present their ticket stubs at the Baysox Ticket Office on or before the game for which they would like to exchange the ticket for. Fans in catered level seating will receive best available seats in our Lower Reserved Seating Sections. Fans using Undated/Flex Pack tickets, must have ticket stubs validated at the Baysox Ticket Office before leaving the stadium on the postponed event date. The rainout policy does not apply to complimentary tickets.
The Bowie Baysox are in their 16th season as the "AA" affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Baysox individual game tickets, season ticket plans, group outings, picnics and birthday parties are currently available for booking by calling the Baysox front office at (301) 464-4880.
